Five Acres Year-End Gift Processing

Thank you for thinking of Five Acres for your year-end giving!
In order to receive 2023 credit for your donations, please follow the deadlines and procedures below.

Cash and Checks

Mail – Donations of cash and checks must be postmarked on or before Dec. 31, 2023.
In person – If hand-delivering cash or checks, please consider items must be received by Five Acres by noon on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, to ensure processing during business hours.

Credit Card

Five Acres accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Mail – Tax credit is granted by IRS for the date that the transaction is processed. Contributions intended for 2023 IRS credit must be received by noon on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, to allow processing by the Advancement office.  Please note, a Dec. 31, 2023, postmark is not recognized by the IRS as valid proof of credit card donation for tax deductibility.  

Phone – Credit card gifts must be called in by noon on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, to be processed for 2023 credit. Please call 626-487-4971 for processing.

Online – Transaction must be completed before midnight on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, in order to be credited for 2023. Stock Transfer

Electronic – Transfer must be received by Five Acres’ brokerage account on or before Friday, Dec. 29, 2023. Please check with your adviser for their deadline and requirements to complete a transaction and qualify as a 2023 donation.
