Hereafter are the deadlines and procedures necessary to receive 2016 credit for donations.

In person – Cash and check gifts must be delivered to the Advancement office by 5pm on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016.
Mail – Donations of cash and checks must be postmarked by Dec. 31, 2016.

Five Acres accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
In person – Must be delivered to the Advancement office on Main Campus by Noon on Friday, Dec. 30 to be processed same day, last business day, so IRS will recognize as 2016 contribution.
Mail – Must be received on December 30 to be processed by the Advancement office that day for 2016 IRS credit.  Tax credit is granted by IRS for the date that the transaction is processed; Dec. 31 postmark is not recognized by the IRS as valid proof for credit card for tax deduction.
Phone – Must be called in by Noon on Dec. 30 to be processed that day.  Please call 626.798.6793 Ext 2270.
Online – Transaction must be completed by midnight on Dec. 31 in order to be credited for 2016. To make your online donation, please click here

Electronic – Transfer must be received by Five Acres’ brokerage account on or before Dec. 30.
In person – Must be delivered to and accepted by the Advancement Office Dec. 30.
Mail – Must be postmarked no later than Dec. 31.
Express mail – Must be received/accepted by the Advancement Office by noon on Dec.30.

*Note – paper stock certificates must be signed and have all required information completed correctly or have required information completed on a separate Stock/Bond power.  In turn, Five Acres will provide a letter of receipt for donations including our name, the date of the contribution (defined as the time of its unconditional delivery or date received), and the amount of the contribution. If the donor received any substantial goods or services, that will also be included in the letter.
