The Golden Five Acres Gala on June 6, 2026

While Five Acres was founded in 1888, this year marks 100 years at our historical Altadena campus. More than a century ago, visionary supporters made it possible to purchase five acres of land and commissioned renowned architect Myron Hunt to design a child-centered campus, opened in 1926 and still at the heart of our work today.

Together, we also honor 138 years of caring for children across Los Angeles County, made possible by partners like you, helping ensure safety, well-being, and permanency for every child.
