Five Acres celebrated the centennial of its historic Altadena headquarters with Paradise on the Fairway, an unforgettable summer evening at San Gabriel Country Club. Guests gathered on the greens for an evening filled with connection, community, great food and celebration.

The event honored 100 years of history at Five Acres’ Altadena campus while looking ahead to the future of our work supporting children and families across Southern California.

An Unforgettable Evening of Yacht Rock Legends

The evening featured a special Yacht Rock performance by Ambrosia, the legendary, Grammy-nominated band featuring original member Joe Puerta. Guests enjoyed the band’s timeless music as part of a memorable night celebrating Five Acres’ history and impact.

Ambrosia was also joined on stage by Elliot Lurie, founder and lead singer of Looking Glass, who performed the band’s iconic hit, “Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl).”
