Five Acres Children’s Guild
Members contribute throughout the year by supporting projects and special events that benefit the children of Five Acres. The Children’s Guild is seeking new members who have a heart for kids in foster care and are interested in becoming “angels” by providing birthday parties, monthly activities and other events.
“What I find most rewarding about the Children’s Guild is the opportunity to team up with other amazing, caring adults, and combine our energies to bring joy into the lives of children who desperately need happiness and hope.” — Michele Dooley, President, Five Acres Children’s Guild.
Special Friends develop a one-on-one relationship with a child at Five Acres through regular visits and activities. Forming that bond with is one of the most rewarding experiences for volunteers and children alike, and a core element to our treatment program to build the child’s strengths on their pathway to safety, well-being and permanency.
Fuel social responsibility and give your employees the opportunity to give back to our community through an enriching team-building experience as Five Acres corporate volunteers. Whether it be a one-time occasion or a lifetime partnership, we welcome corporate volunteer involvement and will work with you to become involved with Five Acres.
Junior Philanthropy Network
Do you know youth who would love to support Five Acres? Through the Junior Philanthropy Network, youth can organize a fundraising event, create a campaign and help us spread the word for our Back to School Angels, Giving Tuesday and Happy Birthday campaigns! Learn how you can get involved.
