While Five Acres takes appropriate measures to safeguard Personally Identifiable Information once it reaches the Five Acres central platform system, Five Acres cannot protect this information while it is in transit to Five Acres when sent by text due to the inherent nature of SMS messages/texts. While unlikely, information sent through text messaging/SMS data may be intercepted and read by third parties other than Five Acres or its employees, agents, service providers, or Crisis Counselors, and Five Acres can make no representations or warranties regarding the protection of personal information before it reaches the Five Acres central platform system.
