Golfers will enjoy an 18-hole tournament during the day, and golfers and non-golfers alike can enjoy the evening’s Kentucky Derby-themed dinner celebration complete with live bluegrass music, a gourmet meal with cocktails and a Best Hat and Bow Tie contest. Sensational auction items include a 7-day stay at Club Cascadas de Baja Resort in Cabo San Lucas, a VIP Kentucky Derby Day experience at Santa Anita Park and an 8-day Viking Cruises river cruise.
This year’s golf classic and dinner sponsorship committee is chaired by Five Acres board member Scott Street and co-chaired by Danny and Joey Reaume.
“Over its 31 years, the Five Acres Golf Classic and Dinner has raised more than $4 million for children and families in Los Angeles County and introduced hundreds of new supporters and friends to Five Acres,” said Street. “We’re especially excited this year to bring the event back to Oakmont Country Club and the City of Glendale and to celebrate this year’s Triple Crown winner, Justify, with a Kentucky Derby-themed tournament and dinner.”
